TIPS FOR SUCCESSFUL ENROLLMENT
- Are they ready to enroll or are they requesting a first enrollment rate preview?
- Gather all contact information
- Be sure to have good quality copies of all their most recent electricity bills that include all meters and all pages. Also include the supplier bill if your customer is dual-billed.
- Understand their current contract obligations with their current supplier including their existing rate, early termination fee details, and their contract end date or desired start date.
- Know general information such as who is the decision maker, are they working with an energy broker, do they have an internal energy department or manager, and is there a deadline or current price to beat on a current offer.
- Understand your customer’s billing preference. Do they want to pay by credit card or ACH monthly or annually, or submit an annual payment by check? Or, if they are over 250,000 kWh per year, do they prefer to have their AutoPilot rate embedded into their current billing?
- Collect all commercial customer documents (see below):
AutoPilot Authorization & Services Agreement
These are the terms and conditions that apply to all residential and commercial AutoPilot customers. If your customer would prefer to enroll on paper, we will need to have this form completed and submitted with their enrollment.

Use this form if your commercial AutoPilot customer would like to have a price preview before they sign their AutoPilot agreement and start service.

Use this form for any commercial AutoPilot customer with usage over 250K kWh that would prefer to have their AutoPilot fees (not to exceed .25 cents/kWh) billed to them through their energy supplier.
